i dont even know of a good way to check it. Also would a bad cam sensor cuase the car not to start. Ive never had one go on me but from what i remeber it would just make it run bad. I have a bad memory though. Just ideas i geuss

 

Can't you just diagnostic check it? Does it have check light engine?

 

no check engine light it ran perfect the night berfore until i turnrd it off and the next morning it wouldn;t start cam sensor is still good cause it still gives spark and without the sensor their wouldn't be spark

 

Its not a sensor because that would cause no spark or something of that nature. I would check your MAF and check your T-Belt for slippage. Also if its a 1g eclipse (older than 94) then you might have one of the ECUs with weak capacitors. I would take off the ECU open it up and check for capacitor leaks.

 

cool thats what i was thinkin i was gonna check next cause i heard someone talkin about it lol thanks so does anyone know if you can just replace the leaky capacitors or get a new ecu.

 

i think it depends on how much they leaked but there are kits to fix the capacitors

 

nice there are parts of plays that can fix a capacitor, haha. Just joking with ya
