Default SRS light

The SRS light is staying on mine car, unless anyone has delt with this problem, I think I am finally going to take it into a mechanic. I have to say I have never messed with anything like this before.

Yea i don't feel like having the airbag go off into my face, probably going to be some stupid sensor that cost couple hundred of bucks

Ok so I notice my back up lights weren't coming on when I put it into reverse. Checked under the dash and sure enough fuse was blown. I put a new one in and get this, the SRS light turns OFF! Now I have seen some ghetto rigging but come on Mits. who wires in their airbag into their reverse lights.

Default SRS light reverse lights

Can anybody tell me where the fuse is for the reverse lights on 2010 Mitsubishi outlander RHD it is supposed to be fuse 18 7.5 amp. There is nothing behind the small drop down compartment that you pull off and I removed the left panel under the glove box to find a small fuse selection I tested bit all seems well Many Thanks Nick

I found out from my local mechanic that the passenger seat sensor is often the issue here.

Reading though the web I came accross a great article titled "Mitsubishi airbag light problem YOUCANIC "

I would recommend that you check with the dealer to make sure there is no recall as well.
