SRS light will not turn off
Loaned my 98 Spider Eclipse to my daughter for a few weeks with the instructions to ensure it is parked under the cover due to soft top leaks. We got very heavy rains and soaked inside up t0 1/2" standing water on floorboards and soaked seats. At the same my alternator fried my battery. Replaced battery and alternator and now the SRS light will not go off. Seats are pretty dry now.
Before taking to dealer, is there anything I can check?

i would suggest getting some heat running in there and dry it out as fast as possible water over time can do serious damage to the electrical system if dried out fast enough the damage may be minimal enough to preserve the system from serious aftermath long term water exposure will ensure permanent long term problems the sooner you dry up the water inside ..suck out as much as you can with a shop vac then get some heaters with fans to dry it up until the rugs are all dry to the touch and then some since wire have coatings that will take some time to dry.. you may find like with a cell phone if you dry them up within a short period of time and completely that the system will function once again but not until all the wires and sensors are completely dry worth giving it a shot
