Starter removal/installation
Hey gang,
I replaced my starter yesterday! I thought it was going to be impossible to reach everything, but it really wasn't all that bad (1997 spyder 2.4 liter engine). The 2 bolts that hold the starter on were relatively easy to get to... I'd removed the air intake and a heater hose out of my way to help me pull it out... I did have to have my neighber turn the bolt as I held the new starter in place from underneath... but, all in all, it wasn't as hard to get to everything as I thought.
