Puting a new brand sameengine in should be a breeze just layble things when you disconnect them and you can't go wrong and hook them back up with the new engine should take 1-7 days depends on how fast you work.Whats wrong with the engine any way? Must be something bad that you have to replace it.I've done a engine conversion to my pulsar but replaced the 18le engine with a u12 ca18det turbo engine something like that has taken me4 months. But well worth the wait.

If you know what you are doing it should take you the better part of a day to do the swap.

I had a friend swap an engine for a 99 eclipse RS. He took it to a shop and only paid $300. The mechanic did a great job. If you haven't bought a new engine yet, you should check out JDM engines. Depending on what you are looking for. You can upgrade to a turbo engine if you didn't already have one. They are surprisingly cheap.
