Default Strange no start

Well this all started about a month ago. The car acts fine and then when i turn the key i just hear a tick... and nothing else... so i take the key out and try again... just the single tick. Then after many tries the car starts normally. What could this be?

Well the brittish customs will tax the hell out of it. I will end up actually paying double what the part is worth.
