yall are pretty smart i was just being a dork laxstar buta, hey a good question is whats the difference between a sway bar and a strut bar, can you put a sway bar in the front doesnt give a little more for a reason i dont get it spydernoob is really confused right now

actually, are cars DO have a frame. Secondly, he was worried about his frame twisting from putting on a bigger turbo, so i assumed he meant from the extra power while drag racing, which it will never twist from. Obviously the frame will flex a little during cornering and road racing, and in that case struts and sway bars are a good idea.
no our cars do not have a solid frame as in an older car or a truck. do this jack your car up and tell me if you see two solid U beam frame rails connected by crossections going from the front bumper to the rear bumper of the car with the body axles everhting attached with rubber bushings. you wont you will see a subframe where the motor compartment front suspension is than you will see the unibody constuction from the firwall back we have a subframe to a full real frame.

ya so what about the 3rd Gen. Eclipses is the stock strut in the front enough or do you think i need another one. If so which do you prefer?

this argument is completely irrelevant for the original post.

but if you are so sure of yourself, perhaps you can explain why the factory repair manual refers to it as a frame, ex "put the jack stand under the frame, disconnect the bolt from the frame etc."?

because factory manuels are made to make it easy if they said subframe the stupid people would get confused got to make it easy on the consumer. how about this call any autobody technician/engineer. ask them.
