Other thing, could be spark jumping? But it shouldnt be really loud.. Maybe thats why you dont hear it while your driving?

 

I don't think its spark jumping. I have coil on plug, and i just replaced the boots (They kept sticking in the head and i had to pull them out with pliers... tore them... the end). I will check on that though. Now that I think of it though, on aempower.com there was an article about the tru boost solenoid making a loud ticking noise and i never thought to check it. I didn't drive my car today because it snowed, but I'll check it this weekend after i buy a new battery. I really appreciate everyone's comments. It either helps me eliminate things, or gives me more stuff to check. Keep it coming.
