Default timing belt

ok i am changing my head gasket and timing belt should i get a timing belt kit (tensinor included) or just the timing belt where there isnt a new tensinor with it

Well it depends on how many miles are on your car, but I would go ahead and do it. Do the balencer belt to while you are in there if the kit doesn't come with it. Paying a few extra dollars for the kit is better than having to take it all the way back apart later to fix something. When I did it I just replaced the water pump too.

It would be a good idea yes. Might as well do it all at once so you dont have to worry about it later.

i agree with them. Whe doing the timing belt its always a good idea to do the tensioner and water pump as well, otherwise if they end up going you have to do it all over again, and in the case of the tensioner going youll end up needing to rebuild the head. Better safe than sorry

Its always a good idea to do the timing belt, tensioner, pulleys, h20 pump and b/s eliminator since you dont know when it was last done. Fix it right the first time.
