I read the conversation, but I didnt really find what i was looking for. I dont want to start a new thread. But how much is it to get the Timing belt replaced along with everything else that needs to be changed? We talked about this before, but I cant find it or remember?

 

well estraw, heres the thing that mechanic said it was the waterpump on the pt but it keeped over heating over and over so we keeped taking it back and he kept charging but never fixed the problem and 1300.00 later come to find out it was a busted hose (dat *****-efer) but yeah hes the kind to brake something to make more money but not from me anymore!!!

 

god i hate mechanics, o ****, i am a mechanic in training now. i hate hypocrits too. ill shut up now

sounds to me like he dropped the cam gear and just kinda shugged it off like nothin happened

LOL no ... he didnt drop that LOL i think he was getting the timing belt on.. and used something like you would use a crow bar to get it on there... and thats when the damage happend... he had to know about it!

 

Good jesus GAWD... Shoot the previous mechanic!! Put him out of OUR misery!!

he must have known it too the little bastard. I say whoop his *** and get him fired.

 

lol this is the funny part he owns the damn shop and this dudes stays busy all the time , and i saw a pt cruiser there yestaday and i felt like telling them to take off as fast as they could and dont look back!!!!!!!!!
