Whats up guys, well, i figured id throw this topic in here to warn you guys, im gonna have some questions haha, me and a few friends are puttin in the engine tonight. I went and picked up a 6 bolt from a kid in New Hampshire and were startin tongiht. Wish me luck guys, im sure ill be back with some questions.

Well, we got ourselfs in a big situation haha. Gotta remove two engine mounts from the old block and put them on the new one. Change all the timing sprockets cause their in horrible shape, new timing belt, and the shift linkage cable, and those are just the basics. haha. On top of that, having a bunch of people who say they wanna help, come there and sit around and **** off are definatly not who ill be calling tommorrow when im changing all the sprockets and trying to get everything in order. Day one, complete failure, day two might be better. Ill get back to you on this one.

Hahah, well it sounds like day 1 you figured out a plan and weeded out the bs'ers. Sounds productive to me. TAKE PICS!!!! OR VIDEOOO!!!! if you can. :]

Yeah ill try to snap off some pics tommorrow and post em up here. Im stripping the old engine of good parts (sprockets, Cams, whatever is good) and label them all in case i need spare parts.

Sounds like a typical first day of working on a dsm for your first time

Heres some help for ya when you get to wiring the crank angle sensor into the cam angle sensor..
