im not sure what your saying. That it feels like the shifter is moving farther than it should? Are you able to shift into the gears fine

do you have a short shifter??? i had this exact same problem with mine. it feels like an e x t r e m e l y long shift and sometimes hard to even find the gear? yea, if you have a short shifter or any kind of aftermarket shifter take your center consol off and just tighten everythng down really good, i used some loc-tite when i did it the second time and never had a prob since.

ok well first of all thanks to all you guys trien to help me and ok here is the problem, its not a aftermarket shifter (stock), ok well yesterday i was pulling out and i went into second kinda hard and then from then on its like the 2nd, 4th, and reverse are really long gears.. maybe something come loose, and like if i'm in 5th and goin to gear down i have to push it to the right until its in the middle and then gear down

i'd pull the center consol off (2 screws on both sides near the back seat, 2 screws under the cup and change holder, and you have to take the radio/ac control trim off and it comes right up) you'll have to remove the shift **** and after tha the entire unit lifts right up. once you do that just shift like you normally do and see if you can see anything wrong with it.
