Hello my sons friend has a 95 eclipse 2.0 non turbo automatic.that shes having shifting problems with..they bought it and knew it had issues so they took it to a local tranny shop but they wouldnt look at it.told them they were unable to connect it to the computer because the wiring is to big a mess on the tranny and sent them away..i drove it and it seems to shift in all gears but 3rd and overdrive but it shifts real hard and around 3000 rpm..no check engine light no codes
if anyone could give any recommendations it would be greatly appreciated

sounds like my car. Basically the transmission itself is on its way out. You could try a flush, but my guess is at this point that may not even fix the problem. You may be looking at a tranny rebuild or replacement
