Default transfer case will not come off? please help!

alright i have a 96 eclipse gsx manual tranmission/transfer case problem. i replaced the clutch and flywheel about 2 weeks ago and 3 days ago i smelled the royal purple 75-90 smell so i looked under my car and saw smoke coming off the exhaust under the tranmission/transfer case so i drove it home and it was smokeing by the time i got it home . after that i jacked it up and looked at the transfer case and the drain plug was gone and no fluid so i started taking the transfer case off it was a PITA and i had to use a crowbar and i got it 2in away from the trANsmission and the shaft came out with the transfer case and now it is just there wedged between the oil pan and the shaft with no way for me to move it/get it off that i know of. Does anyone know what i messed up and how to get it off thanks for the ideas.

the output shaft came out of the transmission and is stuck in the transfer case.... did the transfer case start to seize up? maybe it twisted the shaft and the splines are stuck as sh*t now..since my car is all torn apart if nobody comes up with anything ill look at mine and see if i can figure something out, you might just have to pull the transmission back, then transfer case out some, then the trans back some more then transfer case more again to get it apart, but that doesnt sound good on the transmissions part if the shaft is coming out of it
