No its not. I ran a 255lph without a tune.

What do you think a fuel pressure regulator is for?

So you adjusted your stock fpr to handle a 255lph fuel pump?

Well... my fuel pressures at idle was all over the place... but the car handled it fine.

A 190lph fuel pump doesnt require an aftermarket FPR, the stock one can handle it just fine.

Yes, but you still need to "trick" those injectors unless fuel cut is your best friend. I'll always say if you drive around with a half *** fuel set-up you're looking for trouble.

and it holds off fuel cut for another few psi.

Okay, i'll just put it this way then. If he wants to get anything out of that turbo, he'll want full fuel mods, and a good tune. Otherwise, he can enjoy his starving 16g.

Dude at like 15psi the 16g will be fine. With a 190lph fuel pump you can run about 17 maybe...

Then when you have the cash, you get the SAFC and injectors...
