I want to upgrade my turbo I have a 16g ported and clipped right now but I am not sure what I should go with and need some help from the dsm community... I have a couple in mind here are my options...

big 16g turbo

20g turbo

t3 turbo

t4 turbo

which would be the best for a spyder gst with my current mods to get in the 12s??
my list of mods are
Large FMIC kit
aftermarket intake
ported and polished exhaust manifold
3" downpipe
3" exhaust
17" motegi chrome rims

 

uhh, why do you need a biger turbo? keep it and spend your money on bigger injectors/ tuning device such as an SAFC. 16g can easily run 12's, even 11's properly supported and with a good driver. Getting a bigger turbo before fuel upgrades is pointless because you wont be able to run enough boost to be any faster anyway.

 

by the way you asked about injectors in your last post. are you still getting them? worry about that first

 

I already went with the 550cc rc injectors now I want bigger turbo

 

those are injectors are limiting you at this point then, even if you get a bigger turbo you wont be any faster until you get bigger injectors. get 660's and increase the boost on the 16g, ive run a 12.7 at 20-21psi on it
