i've been looking at the prices and everything for manual vs. electronic. the best manual boost controller i've found is the Greddy TVVC which is 189. however the Greddy Profec Type-S i've found for 150 and is just as easy to use as a manual however it has the accuracy and speed of electonic. Also you can get an optional switch to go on your steering wheel or anywhere for that matter that will turn your boost from you Lo setting straight to your High setting... sounds like a good deal to me

an electric is much harder to use. a manual is NOT $189 unless it is a in cab kit. Average price is $40-$100 you dont need a name brand one it will work fine all it is, is just a screw in a Tee with a spring and a small little ball that is it. I have a no name home made brand MBC and I am running 21PSI without any trouble at all and I can drop it to 12 if I want to

DONT waiste your money on a electric unless it is cheap used and you know how to use it.


and Talon4show they have Boost, Gain, and I know the AVCr does Duty cycle as well

Jeff is right...you do not need a turbo timer on the stock turbo. The T-25 is water cooled and no oil cooled so it is fine. HOWEVER, letting your car idle for a few seconds (usually between 15-30) is a good idea.
stock turbo is water and oil cooled

like emonz has been saying....you really dont need to spend that much on a MBC. Just get a no name brand off ebay. They do the EXACT same thing. And on a stock turbo that is all you really need is the $30-$40 ones

joepmbc.com......he makes a NICE manual boost controller for 45$!!!!! I have it on my 97 GST spyder and it hardly ever spikes. He has two versions one is for sensitive use (stock turbo) and a normal one (for users pushing 7psi over stock).
