Not only them... There are EVO guys that run c16 on a 100% stock EVO. There is a big arguement on the fact that race gas on a stock car doesnt do a thing if it is at stock boost levels without anything to make it flow faster. All in all you want to have the right mixture to stay safe and make the most power I know a stock EVO runs like 9.8AFR which is VERY safe.

Yupe that is why an SAFC or a reflash is such a big mod for the car. It leans it out a bit saves on gas and unlocks about 30WHP outta the tune

bhp=dealer estimated hp (higher # IMO) whp = hp tot he wheels (dyno #)
for turbo, get a 16g as a first upgrade and learn how to build your car up/tune. if u have a 1g, it will bolt up, if you have a 2g you need an extra $150 to get the install kit (gaskets, j pipe etc)

Yeah running race gas in a stock car that's ALWAYS good for a laugh... I thought running too high an octane could also damage things?

What about running premium 91 and 110 mixed evenly? would that be too much for a stockish setup?

well no it depends on your mods. if your 100% stock it will not help you but it you are running higher boost it will to an extent. It is tough to say what you are doing with it unless you use a wideband o2 to read the AFRs and maybe even have it tuned for the higher octane gas. What good is it without a tune, it will help if the car has some mods but if the car is tuned for it then it will get the full potecial out of it
