I was reading up above on one of Patrick's posts that I can get 1-2 extra psi if i remove the waste gate Solenoid restrictor. I would like to try but I'm not sure, besides breaking anything, is there any consequences for doing this?

will you explain what it does? I was reading somewher that it'll boost really high if you have 3" exhaust.

 

3" downpipe can make the t25 spike but thats not related to the selenoid. its just a physical restriction that allows you to run 1-2psi more until you get a boost controller

Sweet. I was looking into downpipes too. What does it mean the 3" will make the t25 spike? i know that the t25 is the turbo, but what does it mean to spike?
Taking out the selenoid restrictor was easy. I can feel the difference too. Though at one point when I was test driving it i was in 2nd and boosting and it felt like turbo lag but halfway through the boost. it was strange. is that ok? I only felt it once.
