matters for what you want, get too big and turbo lag will be monstrous, the 16g is just a good turbo to go with, good power, lags not too bad from what i've read. You don't want to be redlining the motor to spool the turbo up

The reason you didn't many replies is because this question does not have a black and white answer.
Especially since it's such a vague question. Ask the same question and add info such as "for the twisties" or "for the 1/4", then you might get more...but to just ask "what's the best turbo?" is really going to limit your responses because it requires a long post.

The EVO III 16g is going to be a common answer because it can get you up to the 350whp range. Anything over that and you'll be pushing the limits of the stock internals on your motor.

TheAdvocate has a 20g turbo on his GS-T, that size turbo (depending on the model) can push anywhere from 400-450whp. Now there are some ppl with completely built motors and trani's running huge turbo's on their dsm's such as super20g's and FP30's (3052, 3065). There a couple vids on Streetfire of some quick dsm's. There's one of a 1g with a fp2065 running again's an LS1 Transam and is just R U N N I N G away from it as soon as it spools... slows down and does it again. There's another vid of a siq white 2g running against a 650whp Chevy Silverado which is prety nasty. but it all depends on what ur looking for. personally i'm the kind of person that likes to have an interstate beast b/c that's what we do most of around here.
