if your hesitateing at 4500+ you need a tune up the turbo doesnt un spool

he just means a normal tune up. (spark plugs and wires)

yes I bet all he needs to not hesitate would be plugs and ires but you would be smart to do fuelk filter and all that fun stuff and maybe save and do the timing belt because who knows if its ever been done. if that belt breaks your in the hole $2000 or something like that for a head rebuild.

Plugs and wires and your car should pull hard till redline

that was actually the same stupid problem that i had on my car when i bought it. The plugs and wires should fix it. But since it does have high mileage like emonz said, doing a timing belt is worth paying the $200 for that will save you $2000. Trust me i know from experience on this one.
