Default What does it take to kill a 7 bolt ?

Ohhh found a car, cracked block from freezing +crank end playfrom hell, (it moved a good 1/4 inchin/out)ok lets blow this 7 bolt 4g63t up. unhook the WG hose. put my ECU in with no rev limiter, lean it out to 16:1 and holt it WFO... revs to 9200 rpm and boosts 14psi for about 25 minuteson a free revuntill the exhaust housing on the turbo gets a hole burnt through it,.. keep it floored.. 15 minutes later it was running the same...let it cool down.

install junk 14b and try again.. this time it makes 18 psi when it quits revving just past 8500... this goes on for a good half hour, wont die... its now got all 4 pistons rattling up a storm., i hear 2 rod bearings rattlinand smokes quite a bitbut it still runspretty good considering what its been through...half a tank of gas in a 1g AWD nothing but holding it to the floor and EGT's hot enough to melt cast iron.

try one more time with a richer fuel mixture, tuned it to 12:1 , advanced the timing as far as it could move...it went beyond9500 valves floating like crazy for 5 minutes or so as the rattles got worsefinally then it spit 3 rods out of the bottom and part of the crank went flying down the drivewayIt was fun while it lasted.now im bored again.
I love it.
i might take some pics of it, ill take it apart just to see what broke.

i DID get it on video, now the problem of getting the video to the computer is another issue because the plug on the mini DVR is busted so i cant get anything off it
i seriously never thought it could rev to 9000, i figured it would float the valves by 8
almost sounds like a rotary at that RPM
Ive done that to ALOT of engines, i think the best one i ever had was a 3 cyl suzuki sprint turbo, it revved to almost 10,000 and stayed there forever, and never made a noise.
The chevy 305 was the toughest of them all.
a VW diesel rabbit is very hard to blow up, even spraying starting fluid in it to make it rev higher than the governer allows.
