Just goes to show the 4g63 is a pretty tough cookie, even one with a 7 bolt block

considering it had 20 Psi oil pressure at 9k yea.. you need 10 psi for every 1,000 RPM so they say.
pretty tough one to blow up.

Ive done that to ALOT of engines, i think the best one i ever had was a 3 cyl suzuki sprint turbo, it revved to almost 10,000 and stayed there forever, and never made a noise.
The chevy 305 was the toughest of them all.
a VW diesel rabbit is very hard to blow up, even spraying starting fluid in it to make it rev higher than the governer allows.
so guys remember, the next time you are in the mood to destroy a car.... don't pick one of these! lol

lol well i didnt remember the subaru 1600cc carburated boxer motor, you will not kill one. as long as you dont drain the oil it will never die
took me 2 years driving it to blow it up, i ran it down the highway in 3rd as high as it could rev (9500) for miles and it didnt care... i dare you to kill one!
