I am real sorry for posting this as I know the information is probably some where out there, but I could not find a definite answer for my questions. I am getting a really good deal on a 1999 Eclipse RS with 50,000 miles on it but blow tranny. I can find a used tranny no problem but I think I want to turbo charge it if it won't be a big deal. So what all is involved in turbo charging a 1999 eclipse? Will the motor hold up? What all will I need to buy and how much will it cost? all the questions I am sure you have heard a million times, but I just couldn't find a good post with the information. Thanks

Easiest and cheapest way is to buy a turbo kit from HRC or any shop like that. Kits are still over $1,000 but they can give you the basics and you can build from there.

 

hahn Racecraft Offers full kits to do so. they are not as cheep but it is the full kit and they are not too hard to install if you have the right tools it consist of oil lines some computer hardware that is the stuff that is harder.
