what spark plugs?

most of the "higher grade plugs" are crap. They look to be better cause of the higher price tag. However, for general use NGK is always a good plug for any import. I prefer Bosch Platinum plugs. Not the +2 or +4 ones, just the regular Bosch Platinum plugs. I think they are like $5-8 each at most auto parts stores. Just make sure your gap is correct and same for the firing order.

No, your pistons will love it. Platinum plugs are better for your engine that copper ones. The reason it calls for Copper instead of Platinum is cause your car was built in 1997/1998...before there was even platinum spark plugs go Platinum and love it lol

ummmm....depends on a lot of factors...how you drive, grade of fuel, grade of oil, any mods to the car, etc etc. I would say just a lil longer than normal. I always try to change mine every year no matter what.
