what about the non turbo? or what can i do to get the most power and not spend that much
are you trying to say that its a 420a or are you asking what if you dont what to replace the turbo? If its a 420a check out the stickys at the top, if you looking for bot ons the t25 basically maxes out with the stock fuel system. For the most power out of the stock turbo make it breath better, full 3" exaust, intake, 60mm tb, mbc, boost gauge, 1g bov, upic, and some sticky tires should throw you down into the low 14's. If you want to get a bit faster I would get a s16g, its a fairly cheap upgrade, you will need an install kit to go with it for 200 bucks but that isant anyhting too serious that that would throw you into the mid/low 13's with some tuning. After that if you want some more power you can get some 550cc injectos, safc, fmic and that would put you close to 300whp but the turbo would be maxed out by then... along with the clutch. After that you can get a evoIII16g and with some porting work that would put you low/mid 12's at almos 350whp, anything after that you would need a rebuild, the most hp the stock 4g63 block can take is 400 hp and on most older modles like the eclipse that power rating lowers from wear and tear. Proof of this is a vid of a tsi running 35lbs on the stock block and on a dyno pull he shots a rod though the back of the block.
