Default Whistling under hood

Hello Newbie here from Kentucky,
I checked the threads and didn't see anything about this. I have a 99 eclipse gs 5 speed. I have had the car for 7 months and have noticed awhistling noise coming out of the vents with the ac and heat. Didn't think much of it, it was working. Now I'm hearing awhistling noise under the hood on the passenger side of the motor. Car seems to be running good, does anyone have any ideas? Please help a Kentuckygirl out. [sm=alcoholic.gif]

I was hoping it wasn't anything big. It seems to be running ok. If I would have taken it to a shop they probably would have told meI needed a new motor. A big thanks from a Kentuckygirl.

My 97 Spyder does the same thing. When the vents are open on the doors it,s fine.seems the weather stripping on the inside the vent door went bad.seals off the air going into the car.air was slipping past the paddle in the tube and start wistling.open the vent door and it would quit.had to take door pannels off and seporate the vent tube to replace the weather stripping.not very hard took about a hour for each door.
