$300 for what? and $15 for what? Filling the bottle?It CAN'T be $300 for the bottle unless that's a REALLY big bottle I know people that use it for paintball. They wouldn't keep paying that much to charge thier CO2 tanks. You might wanna check your sources. I think someone's trying to rip you.

no not $300 for filling a bottle, $360 to buy the co2 kit. Or $15 to make a water sprayer for your intercooler, free for the water..

ok i pantball and it would cost $100 max. here is what it would take. a bottle about $50 for a medium sized tank. than another $50 for a remote line used for paintball 50' and some pressure fittings and 1 valve. might cost a little more if you go steel or copper line. but in the end it would cool the air id say about 2-3x what water would.

Negative ghostrider. Water has huge cooling abilities. Do some research on water/alcohol injection and you will agree.

I have the co2 intercooler sprayer on my EVO right now and it kicks ass. I've road tested both n2o and co2 and I can't tell a difference (besides price).

if you were to spray water directly onto the intercooler compaired to co2 co2 is way colder considering it sits i the lines and bottle at
-200 degrees below zero. so if they both were sprayed on the intercooler which was the orignal conversation yes co2 will be colder.

But consider what you said about the water/alchohol system the key thing being alcohol. You have to compare boilng points and at what temp each chemical will flash at.

im going to point something out that is a lot more general than the pointless arguing about which is better. 99% of people dont need any kind of spraying. A simple front mount will cool well enough for almost any application. The fastest eclipses out there still dont usually have sprayers, its more of a 'neat gadget' to put on your car than a necessity. And for those that just have to have it I find it much more logical to just have a cheap effective water/alcohol sprayer, than to have an expensice $360 kit that you have to go find a place to fill up at all the time.
