well here is the story. I am looking to buy a 2nd gen. The guy who owns it blew the first engine, meanwhile he had been building a 7bolt. I dont even know what the difference between a 6 and 7 bolt it. It just seems to be a popular thing to do and i was wondering what makes the 7 bolt so much better.

2g's come stock w/ the 7 bolt. The 7 bolt engine is slightly weaker and more prone to crankwalk. People swap 6 bolt engines into 2g's b/c they are stronger and less prone to crank walk. If you do a search there is a tone more info out there.
