me and EMonz57 have been talking aboutn this on a different thread, and i was wondering how possible this really is...making an AWD TURBO eclipse spyder GS....taking a GSX motor and tranny putting them into a spyder GS.. would this really be possible with "minor" modification?

with minor? NO WAY the whole front end is different on the GS from the GST&GSX but esp the GSX from looking under my GS-T i dont know where you would even be able to put the exhaust n the driveshaft. you would basically need to custom both front n rear drivelines n do alot of engine bay fabbing but as for minor no way, unless you can do ALL the work yourself to save labor your looking at one hell of a project. i was ganna try putting in my spare 4g63T in a friends 98 GS after his POS 420a spun a rod bearing. well after doing alot of reading n calling numurous DSM shops we just sold the car n he now has a 97 GS-X

monster garage has more money than all of us combined on this forum... If you have to much money and don't know what to do with it then sure.. It could be a fun project.. But if your not bill gates then just go buy the gsx
