window help!!!

Default window help!!!

i have a 97' spyder gs and my driver side back little window is stuck half way. i have always had trouble with this window ever since i bought the car. the button has always been kindof jammed but the window still went up and down very slowly. now it doesnt work at all. any suggestions on what i should do!!!!!

Well when you try to raise the window do you hear the mechanism trying to work? If not it might be dead and you may have to replace it.

yeah its not making any noise anymore. is there a window motor in the back. i took the whole back panal of my backseat out to see how easy it was to get to. it was a b.tch

so you dont hear the motor anymore? when you could hear it did it sound like it was being strained?

yeah that is exactly what it sounded like when it worked. but yeah i cant hear anything now

yea the motor is out for the window. b4 you go out and buy the motor, take the whole thing out and look at the regulator and the motor and make sure that the regulator did jam up or have missing bolts putting stress on the window set up. i know it looks like a pain but it can be done with a manual guiding you. i had a simular problem with my passenger window....it looks hard but im sure you'll be ok. its easy, just a PITA

alrite cool. what do you mean by the manual. not the manual book that comes with the car or is it?

no like a Haynes or Chiltons manual that you get from the parts store. get one, they'll help you out alot with your car.
