Alright one of my freinds just got a GST, 97 I think, and he asked me for some help with picking out parts. I just told him some standard upgrades better intake, plugs, wires, etc. What would you guys do with 2 grand for parts?

I would go with some underdrive pulleys and cam gears for the engine.

Plugs wires, BOV, MBC, Boost guage, exhaust, then fuel then you can get a turbo if you ahve enough money you should if you do all the wor yourself. You don't really need cam gears unless you are getting your timing belt replaced because it will cost you a lot of money. You don't need pulleys because it is a waste of money for a stock car because you won't see big gains in power.

Underdrives don't seem to do a whole lot on imports, on a v8 it's another story cause you can free up a decent amount of power. I'd like to get piping, bov, and some better gauges than the stock ones and go from there, maybe exhuast after that.

Underdrives have been looked down on for many reasons. I would not use one, but this is personal opinion only.

2k, huh. GS-T is stock.....

Ground Control Coilovers $350
Koni Yellows $550

FIPK $125
Free Mods FREE

Used
Greddy Piping Kit Greddy Type-S $200

14B with hacker install kit $150

Fuel Kit (S-AFCII, injectors, fuel pump)$600

$1975 total

$25 for fluid refills and misc. bolts/nuts that get lost and broken.

Cursing and throwing stuff is FREE aswell, haha.

I left out the boost gauge and plugs/wires cause this should be in the car already.
