JUst got the car last week, and recieved no keyless entry remotes. I assume the car is equipped with keyless entry/alarm, and this could be where the malfunction is? Quite frequently the headlights will begin to flash on and off, whether the motor is on/off, doors locked/unlocked, or headlights on/off, doesn't seem to matter. They will flash for awhile (assuming 3 min) then quit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like the security system. i had a clifford security system in my car and got screwed b/c of it. long story but anyway, if thats the case, there should be a vallet switch somewhere around the steering wheel. mine was in the fuse panel inside. put the key in the on position and hold the vallet switch down for like 10 seconds or somethin. if its an aftermarket alarm, that should fix it

 

Thanks, I'll look for the switch. If it's not aftermarket, can anyone give any suggestions as to the problem?

I'm having the same problem with my 2001 Spyder GT. I just noticed it today and have only had the car for two weeks. How have people fixed this problem previously?

simply lock ur doors and unlock with the key in the drivers door i had the same problem but fig. it out
