So I got an eclipse for doing a job, I am very excited about it, however the engine bay wiring harness is melted like they shorted something out (I got it from my brother in law who bought it like that)

It is melted alot around the battery area on the wire harness,
1. does anybody have an engine bay wiring harness for sale?
2. I have a wiring harness for the automatic version mine is the manual will that work?
3. what else is possible that I will have to do besides plug a new one in? (nothing is melted on the actual car, just the harness its self)
