Default 3G dash question..

Anyone know the trick to getting the speaker out in the middle of the dash, right over where the time is showed? Mine is busted and gettin in my nerves, and before I get in there and break off alot of them clips, thought I would ask if anyone knew the best way to get it off.

your talking about the peice that is around the cd player screen right? im pretty sure that just pops off, but its kinda a pain. All it is, is a couple of connnections to the dash that pop out.

Nah, that one comes off easier. Its the one right above it. That has the speaker under it.

you have to take off the center peice that is around the radio there are 2 screws underneth it in the cubby hole then the clock pod peice pulls off it has 2 tabs in the back that snap in. the tabs have little metal clips on them that might fall off. If they fall just put it back without them because it wont move (I did that on both of my 3Gs because I lost the clips during removal)
