My Cruise Control started acting up this morning. When I went to set the cruise it wouldn't engage. After trying a few more times it finally engaged. So then I pressed up on the lever to accelerate but it wouldn't accelerate then when i let go of the lever the cruise disengaged. I played with it some more and this time it would only keep its speed as long as I held the lever up in the accerlerate position but would never gain speed. Now its not working at all... wont even engage. Any ideas?

 

First thing that pops into my head is your VSS (vehicle speed sensor) going out.
