Default Electrical short or bad fuse..maybe?

Hello all,

I have a 2003 Eclipse GTS. I have had no problems with my car until about a week ago. My 'door open' light keeps coming on randomly (even though the doors and hatch are shut). This causes my intertior lights to remain on as well. Every now and then I will be driving and the light will constantly come on and go off. Also, my alarm is starting to go off at random - even in the wee hours of the morning :-(. I was wondering if anyone has had similar problems or can tell me what I need to do. Thanks!

Well is your door open?

Just messing with you man... Sounds like you have bad wiring...try resetting your car...Disconnect your battery..and test it out. If it continues test your wiring.

Its not a short I dont think, Check the switchs of the doors and hatch. one of mine broke loose on a car before and I had the same prob. they look like a little black push button. but they are plastic and sometimes rubber

Rubber... kinda like a nipple kinda thing... push it all the way in, if they dont go off that thing is for sure not working, if they do... somehow the door is not depressing it well enough
