hello all. i have been trying to track down a noise which i misdiagnosed as a loose rod. that wasn't it, but after getting the engine back together and a test run, i did find the source of the noise. the fuel pump! yes i do feel stupid, but it mimmicked a loose rod perfectly. pulses from the pump are travelling down the line and everywhere there's a bracket it transfers to the body. is this the fuel pump wearing out? the pulses are quite strong, but the car runs fine. if it matters it's a 3l v6.
