hello everyone , i just took delivery of a brand new 2006 eclipse gt v6 -fully loaded.

i would like to start researching mods for it. I would like to start with easy stuff like exhaust and cold air mass flow kits if possible. Can anyone point me in the right direction? any advice would be appreciated.

Well I know this is going to probably sound bad but it's true nonetheless. For the mods I'd stick with doing an exhaust and seeing if you can find an intake. It will be difficult as I learned with my '03 Sentra when I got it. They don't make many mods for them until they've been around for a few years. Especially when a new design hits. I STILL can't get an intake or exhaust ordered for the car. he exhaust will end up being a custom made piece when I do finally do it. The intake I'm just not going to dork with. I'd suggest looking into a shop that does some good mandrel bending and see if they can make a custom bigger exhaus for your car. Otherwise you're likely SOL for a few years.

ya there is, ya just got to make **** fit....

For example bbk and howll are the only companys that make a tb for my car, but moderperformance and a few other guys make them for the neon motors, although the neon shares the 420a block it has a different head, intake mani, exaust mani... ect. My car has a neon tb... it just needed some mods.
