hey imthinking aboutbuying a 2000 eclipse gt with 135,000 on it and i was wondering if you could tell me if this is a good idea. it seems to run well and im going to have a mech check it out but regardless if everything checks out ok would the car be reliable. also the service engine soon light is on and she said it is because she put regular gas in it and its supposed to have middle grade. is this true or is she lying

she is prob lying. it may b on if the gas cover was not tightned properly

 

test drive it, take it to autozone, and have them scan it for you for free

 

dont buy an eclispe

 

just cuz you couldnt take care of your car doesnt mean someone else cant.... agreed with emonz, if you can check the code on autozone
