Well here goes my saga. I purchased a 2001 Spyder Eclipse, seems to be pretty loaded. It did not come with a key fob and my wife has been nagging the hell out of me to get keyless entry. Soooo. I ordered a fob one that only has the lock unlock on it. Went out and followed the instructions as posted and walla...keyless entry accomplished....HOWEVER....now when I shut the car off and open the door, the headlights go into flasher mode for about 2 minutes. Even if I restart the car they continue to flash....to say the least..its rather anoying. So what to do? Is there a relay or fuse to the alarm system that I can disable...any suggestions would be greatly apreciated.

 

to disable the alarm look under the dash on the drivers side on the firewall. there is a black wire with a white connector unplug it.
your problem should be solved.
