What?? If he can't change spark plugs in less than an hour then he needs SERIOUS help... But he NEEDS more than just the plugs/wires changed. And what needs done will DEFINATELY take more than an hour.
ok....from this statement, i can tell that you don't have a 3G v6. to replace the spark plugs on the 3G v6, you have to remove the intake manifold. even the most knowledgable mechanics take more than an hour.

here is the how-to on how to do it. http://66.29.101.66/~c3g/forum/showthread.php?t=455

yes it is a pain in the ***** for only 3 plugs

LOL I know rite. Just like on the submarine the designers DEFINATELY didn't bother taking a trip on one and having to deal with the CRAP they put in the worst of places LOL

I could replace the spark plugs in less than 45 minutes (due to repetition) What i actually HATE doing is the dang distributor cap and rotor. It looks completely accessable from the top- but trust me, you'll absolutely NEED to remove the battery and tray to pull it out. As for fuel filter- it is in the tank and doesn't have a scheduled maintenance as far as i know. Be sure to use the factory platinum or iridium tipped plugs. Good LUck!

Normally in tank filters you replace when the fuel pump goes out from my experience as it's part of the pump itself.
