New fuel pump just went in, car cranks but there's no start.
Located fuel pump relay, is it common for the relay to be bad?
vehicle has 140k miles, everything appears to be original.
planning to check for spark today.

any info or common problem knowledge would be much appreciated.

 

This is the Multi Port Fule Injection pump relay check for 2000 - 2002 eclipse/spyders. you only need and OHM meter to check it.

if you don't have a scanner you can get them for as little as $20 on ebay or just rent one at your local AutoZone, the rental is free you just give them the equivlant $ value and you get it back when you return it.
