Default No Sound to door speakers

Hi everyone new to the forum and have a question:

I have to a new to me 01 Spyder GS that I just bought last Saturday. When I purchased the car it had the original Infinity cd 7 speaker system. The door speakers did not work when I bought it. My husband tested the doors with new speakers and the new ones had no sound either.

I have since last night installed an aftermarket head unit and the door speakers still dont work. I purchased the radio from Crutchfield and did receive the proper wiring harness that goes into the rca jacks on the back of the headunit.

I did also notice under the passenger seat there is a small regtangle box which is probably the amp that everyone on here talks about. I dont know if it's working yet as I just discovered it last night.

I would really like to these working as the head unit's bluetooth output needs to come out of the front speakers. So as of right now no bluetooth sound which sucks esp since car is manual.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I've seen same symptoms as you are describing on other cars and it ended up being a bad amp.
