Default Noise when I accelerate

Ok, just bought a used 2003 GTS spyder about 3 days ago. I notice when I accelerate (doesn't have to be fast) that it is making an alful noise up by the front of the car, cant tell if it is middle or front of car. I though it sounded like an exchaust problem. It doesn't make any noise unless the clutch is engaged and I am moving forward. Doesn't do it at idle and doesn't sound like it is coming from the engine. I took it to Mitsubish and they said I needed new struts, shocks and a sway bar. Does this sound right? I didn't seem to have any problems with the handeling or how it felt on the road. Just seems weird. Any thoughts?

Default RE: Noise when I accelerate

I can try. It isgrumbling noise which seems to be coming from the middle or front right side of the car. Not sure how to explain it, its not sqeeching or coming from the breaks, engine pulls strong and the transmission and clutch seems to be working ok. Doesn't even seem to be cornering bad or breaking bad. Just sounds horrible with I accellerate. I guess I'll have everything replaced as suggested by Mitsubishi and see if it fixes it.
