Noob Question #2 Spark plugs

Default Noob Question #2 Spark plugs

Yea, here is another nub question. Again, for the 2001 GT. What are the best bang for the buck when it comes to spark plugs? Im sorry I ask all these stupid questions, this is my first car. (ive driven lots, just never owned a car...pretty sad concidering im 25 ^_^;; Thanks again for you help everyone!

well the original plugs in the car are 'platinum' grade plus so n e where below that would be sh*t... so go dual platinum heres a nice plus for the car

just go N.G.K.'s....er' stock ( except for champions) unless your engine is well equipped w/ boost (turbo) or nitrous, then go ahead and get that fancy spark plugs. but for stocks n/a engine, any plugs are good too go.

Go with plats. Dual will give you more spark but bigger wires would be even better. So for stock engine I'd say go with the platinums and if you get bigger wires then go with the plat 2's. I'd say screw it if I had the extra $ and get nology wires and plugs

agreed. if you are keeping your car stock or lightly modded, getting uber expensive plugs and wires are a complete waste of money. now if you are going FI, then yes, replacing them with uber expensive plugs and wires is a good thing to do.
