Default Power Windows powerless

Hey guys...I just bought a 2000 eclipse rs from my cuz, he put some 18's on it, and exhaust, I got some real plans for it, but im stuck doing all the routine maintenance on it since the only thing he did was change the oil regularly after he bought it. Anyway, my drivers side window does not work, at all and I have no idea how to fix windows...it sounds like the motor still works, but does not move the window at all, everytime I close the door, the window falls a little, and I have to lift it up...real ghetto style...anybody know power windows?

Sounds like a bad gearbox to me. You'll likely have to pull the door apart to get to it and change that part out. Not tough just time consuming cuz of having to be careful not to break parts.

x2 my window rattles when you shut the door with it down... I took it all apart once to fix it, it lasted for a week. I'll never do that ever again, wate of time and very tedious!
