Default Radio wont turn on, HELP!

I have a 2001 Eclipse GT. I was changing the battery, and after I usually change the battery I need to put in the code for the radio, but only this time the radio or the clock or when it says CODE wont even appear on the screen. When you push the power button on the radio it sounds like a bit of a pop, like it wants to turn on, but it wont, so I replaced the fuse and still NOTHING! So if anyone could help I would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!!!

OK 2 things is the radio coming on with no sound? Its hard to tell turn on the lights and look for the glow of the buttons. 2nd is the display with the clock coming on? If its the display not coming on then the fuse is the one for the cig lighter. If power with no sound then its the stock amp under the seat.

When you change the Battery - You can Not turn the radio on at all. The power button has no effect (I just did this a few days ago). You need to follow the procedures in the Book to enter the code first. (I can not remember off the top of my head. but if I do remeber it is the saved channels buttons 1, 2, 3, and 4. Pressing 1 (if I have the procedure right) will then have the word CODE show on the display, subsequent pushes of that button will change the number from 0 to 9. Then select the next button and so on and so on.

If you can not even get CODE to show (again you must follow the procedures) then you got issues which is above me.
