I have bought Eclipse 2001 from a dealer, when I tested car it was all right. But next day, couple min. after I switched engine on it just died...Then I tried again and I even could drive like 2 minutes(!) ;=( ...... and it happened again ;-(((( So my Eclipse dies every 2-3 minutes during driving.....((( Im upset. Is it something serious? Thanks.
And I have "Servise engine soon" on the panel..May be thats why???

 

the service engine light should definetly tell you the problem. If you can somehow get the car to autozone they can tell you what the code is saying. Does the car just shut off, or does it stutter at all before it dies

 

I can drive a bit before it happens again...

 

Ok, heres what I would do.

Call the dealer and tell them whats happeing.
They will probally be willing to look at it and fix it for you at their expense.
