Angry In need of some serious help

I have a 1999 mitsubishi eclipse gs and about a monh and a half ago it overheated and blew a head gasket. I got a new radiator, thermostat, thermostat housing, radiator fan, replaced head gasket, and did a lotmof rewiring. The people who owned this car before me screwed it up big time. The fan wasnt kicking on and thats why it overheated. Something drained my battey and killed it. I have put so much new parts in, but the fan isnt kicking on and neother is the temperature gauge. How can I get these things to kick on? They are conneted and the connections arent loose.
